The Union of Small and Medium Enterprises (UNISAME) has invited the urgent attention of the Ministry of Communications  (MoC) to the trouble and hardship caused to the SMEs due to the issuance of cell connections to persons who have submitted stolen photo copies of bonafide subscribers.

The cell subscribers have been advised to send their national identity card number via text message to 668 and most of them were shocked by prompt replies that
there were several connections of different companies under their NIC.

The subscribers have to undergo the trouble of visiting the customer service centres of the respective cell companies with their original NIC to have the unauthorised connections canceled.

President UNISAME Zulfikar Thaver has urged the MoC to announce a simple procedure for cancellation rather than making the bonafide customer run to the different cell companies to cancel the undesirable connections.
